Deadly Drone Strike Hits Central Park in Vinnytsia: One Killed, 13 Wounded.
Tragedy Strikes Vinnytsia
According to TSN.ua: A Russian Shahed kamikaze drone struck the heart of Vinnytsia on March 24, killing one person and injuring 13 others. Among the wounded, two are in critical condition and four are in moderate condition. The attack occurred in the city's central park, a popular recreational area for residents, highlighting the indiscriminate nature of the assault.
This incident was part of a broader wave of Russian strikes targeting multiple Ukrainian cities, including:
- Lviv
- Ivano-Frankivsk
- Ternopil
- Vinnytsia
- Zhytomyr
In Ivano-Frankivsk, the attack damaged a maternity hospital and claimed the lives of a National Guard soldier and his 15-year-old daughter, among others.
Official sources stated: 'This is a civilian area. It is the central park of Vinnytsia, and unfortunately, the enemy struck it with their UAV. As a result, one person—Nataliia Zabolotna—died.'
The situation remains extremely tense as Ukrainian cities continue to face relentless attacks. This tragic event and the widespread strikes across Ukraine underscore the escalating conflict and its devastating impact on civilians. Targeting peaceful locations like Vinnytsia's central park raises serious concerns about the safety of non-combatants amid the war. Humanitarian crises are deepening across the country as urban populations grapple with the consequences of ongoing military operations.
