President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated that Kyiv cannot currently meet even one-third of its electricity needs due to the constant assaults. Denys Shmyhal stated that Ukraine requires the installation of between 2.2 and 2.7 GW of new generating capacity, a crucial step toward stabilizing the nation's power supply. Furthermore, over 2.3 million zloty has been raised in Poland for generators for Kyiv, demonstrating support from neighboring countries.
