Online Doctor Declarations Now Available for Ukrainians: Key Changes Explained.
Ukraine Launches the ‘Patient Cabinet’ Digital Platform
According to TSN.ua: All adult citizens in Ukraine can now access the newly launched ‘Patient Cabinet’ digital platform, which allows them to sign a declaration with a doctor online and update their personal information. This tool streamlines interactions with healthcare facilities by removing the need for in-person visits for these administrative tasks.
Teenagers between the ages of 14 and 18 are also eligible to use the cabinet’s features, but only if they possess an electronic signature. It is important to note that only those adolescents who have confirmed civil legal capacity are permitted to submit a declaration.
Features of the ‘Patient Cabinet’
Through the ‘Patient Cabinet’, users can:
- view and update their personal data within the electronic healthcare system;
- review both current and past declarations with their doctor;
- find a doctor and submit a declaration online—without needing to visit a medical facility;
- manage access permissions for electronic cabinets they have authorized to process their personal data.
The introduction of the ‘Patient Cabinet’ platform marks a significant step forward in the digitalization of healthcare services in Ukraine. By enabling remote document processing, it not only simplifies the declaration process but also enhances overall access to medical care—a crucial improvement given today’s challenges. This shift is expected to reduce the administrative burden on clinics and boost patient satisfaction.
