The government of Ukraine has decided to launch the eBook program in the 'Diia' application. Young people who will turn 18 in 2024 will be able to receive 908 hryvnias from the state to buy books.
According to information from the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the application for receiving money can be submitted directly in the 'Diia' application. The program provides for the possibility of purchasing printed publications, e-books, and audiobooks in the Ukrainian language.
The implementation of the project will be carried out by the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine, the Ministry of Digital Transformation, and the Ukrainian Book Institute.
Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov recommended three books for reading: 'Effortless. Achieve What Matters' by Greg McKeown, 'Learning How to Learn.
