According to TSN.ua: The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center has issued a weather alert for western Ukraine this Sunday, February 4th. The forecast calls for dangerous ice accumulation and icy roads, which are expected to cause significant travel disruptions. The warning specifically applies to residents of the Lviv, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Chernivtsi regions. These conditions are typical for the region during winter temperature fluctuations.
A first-level yellow weather warning is in effect. While temperatures in the east and northeast of the country are expected to drop to around -15°C, the Zakarpattia region will see milder conditions of around +6°C. Light snow is forecast for the Vinnytsia and Zhytomyr regions, with ice expected in the Precarpathian area. In Kyiv, temperatures will range from -8°C to -10°C with no precipitation, as reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
