Ukrzaliznytsia honors Mykhailo Klymenko: his song will be played on trains in December

According to ТСН: Ukrzaliznytsia has made a touching decision to honor the memory of Mykhailo Klymenko, co-founder of the band Adam, who passed away after a prolonged illness.

Throughout December, train No. 55 Kyiv - Rakhiv will depart from the capital's railway station with his song "Tsiluy" being performed. This choice of route and track is not accidental.

“The first lines of the song "Tsiluy" by the band Adam sounded on the "Ukrzaliznytsia" train — on the road, amidst movement and life. Mykhailo Klymenko was the voice of tenderness, honesty, and love in Ukrainian music,” noted the "Ukrzaliznytsia".

The death of Mykhailo Klymenko was a heavy loss for all admirers of his work.

“I listened to Mykhailo's music and felt it. His voice will remain with us — in songs, in the silence between notes, in the rails, the noise of the station, and in the hearts of people,” said the railway.

Mykhailo Klymenko was the author of many well-known songs of the band Adam, such as "Povilno", "Tantsyuy, myla", "Senora" and others. He collaborated with his partner, actress Oleksandra Norova.

The musician struggled for a long time with a serious illness — tuberculous meningitis. Unfortunately, he did not come out of a coma. The farewell to Mykhailo Klymenko took place in a warm atmosphere amidst the applause of fans, relatives, and colleagues. He was buried in the cemetery in the village of Lubyanka, Bucha district of Kyiv region.

Honoring the memory of Mykhailo Klymenko by performing his song on the train is not only a gesture of respect for his work but also a way to support all those who loved his music. "Tsiluy" will become a kind of symbol of memories about the artist who left a bright mark in Ukrainian music. Most of his songs still live in the hearts of many Ukrainians, forming the cultural heritage of the country.
