President Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented the honor, recognizing his exceptional service to the state. Tragically, Kotsiubailo was killed in action near Bakhmut on March 7, 2023, a profound loss for his comrades and the entire nation. He was only 27 years old at the time of his death.
