According to TSN.ua: As of April 2, 2026, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have eliminated 1,300,030 Russian soldiers. In the past 24 hours alone, another 1,300 troops were killed. The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces continues to release data on Russia’s battlefield losses, highlighting the severe toll on enemy forces.
Overall Russian Combat Losses
Russia’s total combat losses in the war include:
- 11,830 destroyed tanks
- 24,334 armored combat vehicles
- 39,228 artillery systems
- 1,713 multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS)
- 1,338 air defense systems
- 435 aircraft
- 350 helicopters
- 213,393 tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs)
- 4,491 cruise missiles
- 33 ships
- 2 submarines
Additionally, losses of vehicles and fuel tankers amount to 86,773 units, while specialized equipment losses stand at 4,107 units. In March, Russia occupied approximately 160 square kilometers of territory—a 27% increase compared to February. These figures underscore the ongoing intensity of combat operations and the heavy losses sustained by Russian forces in the conflict.
The front-line situation remains tense, as both sides continue to engage in active fighting. Russia’s significant losses point to the challenges its army faces, yet the occupation of new territory may reflect efforts to strengthen its positions.
