According to ТСН: The State Bureau of Investigation detained a serviceman of the security platoon of the local TCC and SP in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, who, together with his superior, tortured conscripts. One of the victims sustained such serious injuries that doctors had to remove one of his internal organs.

DBR employees detained a soldier from one of the regional TCCs in Prykarpattia, who, together with the management, humiliated and beat conscripts. In November 2025, law enforcement reported suspicion against the head of this same recruitment center.

After reviewing citizens' complaints about beatings and torture at one of the TCCs in Prykarpattia, as well as in connection with media publications, law enforcement received significantly more statements from victims. People reported illegal actions by a group of military personnel from the RTC, headed by the head of the institution. During the pre-trial investigation, investigators recorded numerous facts of humiliation and illegal use of force.

Instances of Violence

Law enforcement found that the military used violence against a man solely due to his refusal to undergo fluorography. According to the investigation, an officer, along with a soldier, dragged the victim into the corridor, where one of them held him down while the other struck him at least five times. Then they tore his clothes off and forcibly took him to the X-ray office.

The beating did not stop – the individuals also used tear gas, spraying it in the victim's face.

Severe Consequences

As a result of the bodily injuries sustained, the man suffered serious injuries and required surgical intervention with the removal of one of his organs.

The actions of the superior and his subordinate were qualified as torture committed by a state representative. For this crime, punishment of up to 12 years in prison is provided.

The court decided to take the officer and his subordinate into custody without the right to bail. The pre-trial investigation continues, and possible similar cases of torture by employees of this TCC are also being checked.

Also in Odesa, police uncovered two servicemen from the Peresyp RTC, who in early December beat a 27-year-old defender released from captivity in June. The conflict occurred during the verification of military registration documents, resulting in the victim sustaining minor bodily injuries.

These cases reflect a serious problem of torture and violence within the military administration structure. Law enforcement continues the investigation to identify and punish all those responsible for similar crimes. Moreover, it is crucial to ensure the rights of servicemen to guarantee decent treatment and protection from abuses.
