Tomorrow is the last day for the 'Winter 1000': how to submit an application in time

According to ТСН: Tomorrow is the last day for registration to receive state assistance under the 'Winter Support' program. Ukrainians who have not yet received payments have limited time to submit their applications.

How to apply for 'Winter 1000'

The 'Winter Thousand' program is available to all citizens of Ukraine. To receive the payment, you must submit your request by December 24 inclusive. Applications can be submitted either through the 'Diia' digital application or by visiting any branch of 'Ukrposhta' in person.

The terms of use of the funds received will depend on the method of receipt:

  • Through 'Diia': the money is credited to the 'National Cashback' card, and you can spend it over a long period — until June 30, 2026.

  • Through 'Ukrposhta': pensioners and social aid recipients who have received this payment automatically or by application at the branch must spend the money by the end of February 2026.

The financial assistance can be used to pay for utility services, 'Ukrposhta' services, purchase medicine or products from Ukrainian brands. There is also an opportunity to transfer these funds for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Registration for another type of assistance — 'Winter 6,500 UAH' — has already closed as of December 17.

It is worth noting that not everyone who submitted applications for 'Winter Support' has received funds. According to the latest data, over 13 million Ukrainians submitted applications for 'Winter Thousand' in 'Diia', and for 'Winter 6,500' — more than 300 thousand people. The government claims that funding will be sufficient, and all applications will be fulfilled in several stages.

The completion of registration for 'Winter Support' underscores the importance of receiving financial assistance during this difficult period. Many Ukrainians are waiting for these funds to support their budgets amid the economic crisis. The government continues to implement various assistance programs as the need for financial support remains high.
