Tetiana Piskaryova lost 10 kilograms after the war: the secret is intermittent fasting.
According to ТСН: Honored Artist of Ukraine Tetiana Piskaryova shared her experience of gaining excess weight and battling it during the war. She gained 10 kilograms when she was forced to live in Montenegro due to the Russian invasion.
In an interview on the YouTube channel of Marychka Padalko, the singer admitted that the extra pounds came from constant sleep deprivation. According to her, lack of sleep led to overeating, and stress only worsened the situation.
'The most important thing is the lack of sleep. When you don't get enough sleep, you want to eat more. If you haven't slept enough, you'll eat more now. It happens automatically. With lack of sleep comes overeating. I didn’t notice how it happened. To calm down – a sweet treat, and tea with something. And in Montenegro, there’s white wine in small bottles. I drink it, while water fills up.'
Tetiana realized she had gained weight about a year later. After returning to Ukraine, she decided to take her figure seriously. The singer consulted with a doctor and chose the method of intermittent fasting. Now she has two meals a day, and after 4-5 PM, she refuses to eat, which yielded positive results.
'I consulted with a doctor. She told me that you can choose the method that works for you. Intermittent fasting works for me. I eat sufficiently with a lot of protein and fiber, a balanced plate. I stop eating at four or five. I have two meals a day.'
It should also be noted that recently singer Arsen Mirzoyan shared information about his current weight and methods of maintaining physical fitness.
The topics of health and fitness have become especially relevant for many Ukrainians during the war. The stories of Tetiana Piskaryova and other artists demonstrate that even in difficult conditions, it is possible to find solutions for improving one’s well-being and physical condition. This inspires many to focus on their health and seek optimal methods of maintaining fitness.
