Ukraine to Launch Weapons Exports: New Missiles Could Strike Moscow by Summer’s End.
Ukraine’s Defense Industry Undergoes Major Transformation
According to TSN.ua: Russia’s full-scale invasion has driven a dramatic overhaul of Ukraine’s defense sector, now opening the door to arms exports. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced plans to establish ten export centers across Europe, aiming to boost Ukraine’s military production on the global stage.
New Weapons and Strategic Impact
Among the latest developments are ballistic missiles produced by the Ukrainian firm Fire Point. These weapons, with ranges of up to 500 km and 850 km, could threaten targets in Moscow by the end of summer. According to expert Bohdan Dolinets, this represents a potential strategic turning point for Ukraine.
“So far, we only have information about test uses of various types of systems,” – Bohdan Dolinets.
The ‘Hrim’ missile system is currently in its final testing phase. This suggests Ukraine may soon deploy a diverse array of ballistic missiles, significantly expanding its defensive capabilities.
These moves—ramping up exports and developing new military hardware—signal a shift in Ukraine’s defense policy amid ongoing challenges. Such initiatives could reshape Ukraine’s strategic position in the region, especially as threats from Russia continue to grow.
The creation of new export hubs and advanced weaponry reflects Ukraine’s drive to strengthen its defenses and deepen international military cooperation. It also underscores a response to conflict-driven pressures and a commitment to regional stability through a homegrown defense industry.
