Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky honored military personnel participating in the Kharkiv operation with state awards. The head of state visited the command points of the 36th separate marine brigade named after Rear Admiral Mykhailo Bilynskyi and the 82nd separate airborne assault Bukovyna brigade in Sumy region. Zelensky expressed gratitude to the soldiers for their service and awarded them with orders 'For Courage' of the II and III degrees and the medal 'For Military Service to Ukraine'. The President also held a meeting with commanders and received more information about the progress of hostilities and the development of military technology.
Zelensky emphasized the success of the Kharkiv operation, which saved many lives and protected Sumy and Kharkiv regions. The President personally thanked the soldiers and awarded them for this operation. Earlier, the head of state visited Chernihiv and Sumy regions, where he met with local residents.
Also yesterday, the president visited a medical facility in Dnipro, where injured soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are being treated. He got acquainted with the work of the medical staff and the departments of anesthesiology and polytrauma.
