According to TSN.ua: During a speech at the British Parliament, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy showcased cutting-edge defense technologies and proclaimed that warfare has entered a new phase driven by drones and artificial intelligence. He emphasized that the world is now in a transformed era of conflict, with Ukraine facing daily assaults from Russia. Zelenskyy noted that nearly 500 strikes were recorded in a single night during one attack, underscoring the severity of the situation.
Urgent Need for Drones and Global Collaboration
The Ukrainian leader stressed that his country requires roughly 1,000 interceptor drones each day to mount an effective defense. He also reported that Ukraine has essentially pushed the Russian fleet back to distant bases in the Black Sea, highlighting the success of Ukrainian forces.
“The Russian fleet, once formidable, now has no effective way to counter our drones,” said Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Zelenskyy also underscored the value of international cooperation, stating:
“We can help our partners protect their territories—both in Europe and the Middle East,” said Volodymyr Zelenskyy.He argued that if the world had stopped Putin in 2022, “there would be no need to defend against drone attacks today.” Ukraine has additionally deployed 201 military experts to the Middle East, demonstrating its readiness to engage actively in global security initiatives.
