Ukrainian Military Strikes Target Russian Infrastructure and Aviation

According to TSN.ua: Ukraine’s armed forces have carried out strikes against Russia’s military-industrial complex and aviation assets, including the destruction of a Ka-52 Alligator helicopter valued at $16 million. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed attacks on Russian facilities, such as an A-50 aircraft and infrastructure in occupied territories. These operations are part of Ukraine’s ongoing campaign to degrade Russian combat capabilities.

On March 17, a strike hit the 123rd Aircraft Repair Plant in Staraya Russa, damaging an A-50 plane undergoing maintenance. Later, during the night of March 20, Ukrainian forces targeted the Alchevsk Metallurgical Plant in the Luhansk region. Additionally, in the Zaporizhzhia area, infrastructure at the Vostochny training ground near Novopetrivka came under attack.

Russia’s Losses and Continued Ukrainian Operations

Russia’s overall military losses have now exceeded 1.28 million personnel. These latest actions highlight Ukraine’s persistent efforts to hit key nodes of Russia’s military infrastructure. By striking repair facilities, industrial sites, and training grounds, Ukraine aims to disrupt logistics and reduce Russia’s ability to sustain offensive operations.

The destruction of equipment and infrastructure that supports Russian military operations could hinder Moscow’s capacity to conduct offensives. These events also demonstrate Ukraine’s continued use of its strike capabilities against critical targets, potentially shifting the dynamics of the conflict in the region.
