Abnormal Heat in Ukraine: Where New Temperature Records Have Been Set.
According to ТСН: Ukraine is experiencing abnormally warm weather, which has already broken several temperature records.
On November 22, a record temperature of 17.2° Celsius was recorded in Chyhyryn — the highest figure in 75 years of meteorological observations. The previous record was 16° and was set in 2015.
While temperatures remain warm in the central and eastern parts of the country, winter conditions are already felt in the west, with a stable snow cover forming.
Meteorologists note that Europe is currently experiencing sharp temperature fluctuations. The central and eastern parts of the continent are experiencing temperatures between -5 and +2°, while Turkey and Cyprus are warming up to 22–28°. This difference is caused by a polar air mass coming from the east.
Forecast for Ukraine
In the coming days, from November 25 to 27, the weather in Ukraine will remain abnormally warm. During the day, temperatures will reach 7–12° Celsius, while at night it will remain high — 5–10°. In some areas, fog is possible at night and in the morning. Significant precipitation is expected only on Thursday, November 27.
Experts compare the current anomaly to November 1996, when autumn lingered into December, and the average daily temperature fell below +5° only on December 5.
The meteorologist emphasizes that such warm weather allows for significant savings on heating buildings and winter road maintenance, which positively impacts the budgets of local communities.
Recall that earlier meteorologists surprised with a forecast for winter 2025–2026.
Interesting fact: warm weather in November not only attracts the attention of nature lovers but also raises concerns among ecologists. Abnormal temperatures can affect nature's cycles, particularly vegetation and wildlife. Therefore, it is important to monitor changes in nature and adapt to the new conditions formed by climate change.
