Actor Andrii Isaienko Demonstrates DIY Pot Heater for Power-Outage Emergencies.
Andrii Isaienko's Homemade Heating Device
According to TSN.ua: Actor Andrii Isaienko has showcased a homemade heater designed to warm a room without electricity or central heating. He built the device with his daughter. The heating method itself was revealed by a pediatrician, whose husband had used it back in 2022.
Required Materials for the Heater
Constructing the heater requires only a few basic items:
- A clay flower pot
- A bolt
- Washers
- A nut
The design uses small, flat candles (tea lights) to heat the pot. Isaienko confirmed it effectively warms a room, raising the temperature by four degrees Celsius. However, he also warned users to exercise caution due to the open flame.
This heating technique can be a valuable stopgap solution during power outages or when central heating is unavailable, offering a simple and accessible way to warm a space in cold weather. Such DIY innovations have gained relevance amid the ongoing energy crisis affecting Ukraine and other regions. When traditional energy sources are disrupted, finding alternative ways to heat living spaces becomes crucial for comfort and safety during winter months.
