Russian strike on Odesa region: Artziz left without electricity for at least a week.
According to ТСН: As a result of the Russian missile strike that hit the energy infrastructure of the Odesa region, the city of Artiz is left without electricity.
Situation in Artiz
The mayor of Artiz, Serhiy Parpulansky, reported that the restoration of electricity supply in the city should not be expected for at least a week.
“In the city of Artiz, according to the energy workers, it is not worth expecting reconnection in the near future and even in the upcoming week. The situation may be somewhat better for villages and for the military town. However, the forecast is also unsatisfactory at this time,” said the mayor.
Water supply and heating
Responding to a question about the water supply, the mayor assured that water would be supplied according to the previously announced schedule.
In addition, heating points and charging stations for electronic devices are planned to be organized in Artiz.
It is worth noting that on the night before Saturday, Odesa and the Odesa region experienced one of the largest attacks since the beginning of the war. During this attack, the enemy deliberately targeted energy facilities, aiming to plunge the region into darkness and cold.
Such shelling underscores the concern regarding energy security in Ukraine, as regions continue to suffer from the consequences of the war. Residents of cities like Artiz must remain vigilant and prepared for difficulties in the coming weeks.
