According to TSN.ua: A 16-year-old boy suffered severe injuries during a Russian drone attack in Sumy on March 18. Artem, a volunteer who assisted the teenager, reported that the youth’s cheek was torn open. Doctors later diagnosed him with multiple skull fractures and a concussion.

At the time of the drone strike on a military recruitment office in the Zarichny district, people were inside the building, but no fatalities occurred. The attack also damaged a supermarket, several cars, and residential buildings. Over 30 windows were blown out in a nearby high-rise apartment block.

Artem stated that the boy is alive and being transported to a hospital. The destruction caused by the strike has sparked anxiety among residents and drawn outrage over the escalating violence in the region. The incident has left a deep mark on the people of Sumy, who once again witnessed the devastating effects of war.
