According to ТСН: As a result of the shelling of Kyiv by Russian troops in the Svyatoshyn district, seven houses were damaged, and five people were injured, including a 16-year-old child.

Situation at the scene

The head of the district administration, Georgiy Zantoraya, noted in a comment that at present, damage has been detected in seven houses, including windows and attics. “Preliminarily, we have damage in seven houses, this includes common areas, windows, and in the house behind, the roofs of two entrances are severely damaged. Ultimately, we have 5 people injured, 4 at this location, all hospitalized, one 16-year-old child,” Zantoraya said.

Actions of services at the scene

He also reported that all services are working at the site, and specialists from other districts have been brought in to assist with roof repairs. “Right now, all services are also working in this house. We hope to close all windows and the roof by evening,” he added.

Due to damage to the gas pipes on the top floor, gas in the specified house will be temporarily shut off, and other houses will be inspected to ensure gas supply. “The heat in this house will remain, in other houses heat is present, we are trying to keep the gas supply,” Zantoraya noted.

Assistance for residents

An operational headquarters has been organized for residents of the area, where they can seek assistance. Temporary shelters in educational institutions are available for those in need of warmth and hot drinks. “All services are on site, the headquarters are open, you can apply for assistance,” he summarized.

It is also reminded that it was previously reported that during a drone attack on December 23, five people were injured, two of whom were in serious condition.

This situation underscores the complexity of the security situation in Kyiv and the need for rapid response from services. Each case of shelling presents new challenges for residents, the recovery of whom requires efforts not only from local services but also support from other regions. In such circumstances, it is important for communities to remain united and receive the necessary assistance.
