According to ТСН: On the night of January 13, the Kyiv region was attacked by the occupiers. The shelling caused destruction in the region, and fires broke out in residential areas and industrial enterprises.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

Shelings and Fires

The attacks targeted infrastructure facilities and private households in various districts of the region. In particular, in the Brovary and Fastiv districts, rescuers were dispatched to extinguish the fires.

The fire broke out in agricultural and temporary buildings, but it was quickly extinguished.

The situation was also tense in the Vyshhorod district. A fire broke out in a residential building due to the shelling, but the emergency services were able to quickly put it out.

Despite the destruction, preliminary reports indicate that the worst was avoided. Fortunately, there were no fatalities or injuries.

Attack on Ukraine

The Russian troops attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles. The air alarm in the capital lasted from 04:15, and residents were urged to stay in shelters.

We remind you that on the night of January 13, Russia launched a massive airstrike on Ukraine, using missiles of various types and combat drones. According to the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 247 air targets were destroyed.

During the attacks, ballistic missiles of the "Iskander-M" type, cruise missiles of the "Iskander-K" type, as well as guided missiles of the S-300 type were used from Russian territory and the temporarily occupied Crimea. In addition, Ukraine was attacked by hundreds of Shahed drones and other models. The ballistic attacks targeted the districts of Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kyiv.

This nighttime attack was further evidence of Russia's ongoing aggression against Ukraine, where infrastructure and civilians once again suffered. Given the scale of the attack, the air defense forces demonstrate their effectiveness in protecting the airspace, yet the threat remains high. Residents of the regions continue to be prepared for potential threats.
