Russians attacked Kharkiv: high-rise building damaged

In the afternoon of September 15, Russians attacked Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs, damaging an ordinary residential building, a high-rise. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed with a statement about this event.

«The rescue operation in Kharkiv is ongoing. Russian air bomb strike. An ordinary residential building, a high-rise, is damaged. There is a fire and rubble between the 9th and 12th floors. So far, it is known about almost 30 injured, among them children. All services are involved in rescuing people. Thank you to everyone who helps», – Zelensky wrote.

According to the president, the international community must help protect against Russian military aviation and guided aerial bombs, which take Ukrainian lives daily.

«This terror can be stopped. But to stop the terror, it is necessary to overcome the fear of strong decisions that are objectively needed. This war can only be justly ended by determination. It is determination that most effectively protects against terror», – Zelensky added.

Let us recall, at 16:18 it is known about 33 injured civilians of the high-rise building. The building was hit on the 10th floor, the fire covered four floors, from the 9th to the 12th. A rescue operation and fire extinguishing are being conducted. All relevant services are involved in these works.

Additionally, on the morning of September 14, Russian invaders struck Kharkiv with a guided aerial bomb (KAB), the attack hit a garage cooperative. However, no one was injured.

Yesterday evening, the enemy also carried out a missile strike on the Odesa district. As a result, a married couple died: a man and a woman born in 1958 and 1962. A 65-year-old woman was injured.
