There is no electricity in Odesa even on 'elite' lines: what Parpulansky explained.
According to ТСН: Odesa region has serious damage to its energy infrastructure that complicates the restoration of electricity supply, even in certain lines. The main priority remains ensuring the functioning of critical infrastructure facilities.
This was reported by the mayor of Odesa region, Serhiy Parpulansky, on Facebook. He emphasized that some people focus on the presence of electricity in certain areas, without taking into account the complexity of the work of emergency and utility services, as well as the scale of damage to the energy system.
Difficulties in restoring electricity supply
Parpulansky stressed that fuel costs to ensure the operation of heating points and critical infrastructure facilities are extremely high. There is a risk of generator overload, which could lead to serious consequences, particularly for medical institutions.
'There cannot be any light for anyone right now due to critical destruction'
He also expressed gratitude to the energy workers, communal services, budget sector employees, and everyone involved in restoring the energy system and ensuring the operation of critical infrastructure and heating points.
He particularly thanked entrepreneurs who provide people with the opportunity to charge mobile devices and support communities during the energy crisis.
We remind that it was previously reported that on December 13, Odesa region suffered one of the largest attacks from Russia.
The situation in Odesa region indicates serious challenges faced by local services during the restoration of the energy infrastructure. Despite the difficulties, the efforts of energy workers and utility services are aimed at ensuring safety and stability in the region. Communities continue to support each other in this difficult time.
