Russia increases pressure on the front to strengthen negotiations: the goal is to seize as much territory as possible

According to ТСН: The Army of the Russian Federation is trying to seize as much territory of Ukraine as possible. The Russians are increasing pressure on the front to strengthen their positions in peace negotiations.

Comment from a military expert

The head of the Assault Units Department of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valentyn Manyko, emphasized in an interview that discussions of a possible quick peace can demoralize troops.

"Unfortunately, this is the case. Everyone is very tired of the war. For some, this is hope. The enemy is also putting pressure for a reason. He is trying to strengthen his negotiation position. And if peace does happen, the enemy wants to seize as much as possible from us," Manyko noted.

False signals from the Kremlin

It was previously mentioned that the Kremlin may spread false signals about peace. Politician Volodymyr Omelyan believes that the meeting between Witkoff and Putin in Moscow did not bring peace closer.

"Hoping that now everyone will go for Christmas in the West, there will be some of their own troubles, he can seize another piece of Ukraine, and kill a certain number of Ukrainians. He has achieved this goal," Omelyan emphasized.

Omelyan also noted that Putin remains focused on war, so the Ukrainian government should pay attention to the financing of the state and army.

The situation on the front remains tense, and statements from Russian politicians only weaken hopes for a quick end to the conflict. The challenges faced by Ukraine require effective solutions from the government and ongoing support for the army's combat readiness. At the same time, the international community is observing developments, trying to find ways to restore peace in the region.
