Alert from the State Tax Service of Ukraine

According to TSN.ua: A wave of fraudulent emails is currently being sent to Ukrainian citizens, according to the State Tax Service of Ukraine. These messages originate from unofficial addresses and contain malicious software designed to compromise users' computers. The scam attempts to gain hidden access to devices, posing a serious cybersecurity threat.

To help identify legitimate communications, the Service notes that all official email addresses use the domain @tax.gov.ua, with the primary inbox being [email protected]. Any message arriving from a different domain should be treated as a forgery and immediately deleted. Additionally, scammers are making phone calls from the numbers +380443250316 and +380445924076, impersonating Monobank representatives, which further increases risks for recipients.
