Attack of 20 Drones on Pokrovsk: How the Paratroopers Survived Under a Deluge of Strikes.
According to ТСН: Ukrainian military personnel in Pokrovsk came under attack from 20 FPV drones. Fortunately, our guys did not lose any fighters.
This was reported by the 7th Rapid Response Brigade of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Russian troops continue their intense pressure on our defenses in Pokrovsk. To achieve their goal, the enemy is using their entire arsenal. In particular, mass attacks by FPV drones on a single target, trying to 'burn out' everything alive,” emphasized the Air Assault Forces.
What is known
Fighters from the 25th Separate Airborne Dnipro Brigade were moving through the private sector of Pokrovsk when they were caught under a swarm of enemy FPV drone strikes. In just two minutes, the enemy carried out about 20 attacks with drones on the paratroopers, occurring with a short interval—on average once every 3 seconds.
“Despite the intensity of the attack, the personnel fortunately did not suffer any losses. After the shelling ended, our group continued to fulfill their combat mission,” the fighters noted.
At the same time, the situation at the front remains tense.
“The enemy has advances near the villages of Zvanivka and Rivne, as well as in the city of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region. The Russians are also achieving success near the settlement of Dachne in the Dnipropetrovsk region,” the message says.
This attack is part of a large-scale campaign by Russian troops who continue to attempt to weaken the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. However, despite the difficult circumstances, Ukrainian defenders demonstrate resilience and the ability to carry out assigned tasks while preserving the lives of their comrades. The situation in the region remains complicated, and the further development of events requires careful attention.
