Huliaipole Frontline Update

According to TSN.ua: The Huliaipole sector in Zaporizhzhia remains one of the most challenging areas of the front. Ukrainian troops are operating under extreme pressure, with the force ratio standing at one to eight in favor of the enemy. Despite these overwhelming odds, Ukrainian infantry continues to hold the line, while pilots from the 154th Mechanized Brigade provide critical battlefield support.

In recent days, the situation has escalated sharply. Russian aircraft have intensified strikes on Ukrainian positions using guided bombs. According to commanders, a record number of attacks was recorded: 68 guided bombs were dropped in a single day.

“We set a record in our sector—68 KABs in one day! That means 11 groups. They targeted Huliaipole and Zaliznychne heavily,” said a strike drone platoon commander known by the call sign ‘Kruzak’.

Russian Forces Intensify Operations

In addition, Russia’s 76th Air Assault Division has been redeployed to the Orikhiv direction, signaling a ramping up of enemy activity in the region. The adversary is not only relying on air power but also deploying sophisticated electronic warfare (EW) systems, further complicating the situation for Ukrainian defenders.

“They were well-prepared, almost like an independent group. One of them had an EW system... But the order came to send in a bomber. Two mines—and that group ceased to exist,” Kruzak emphasized.

The situation on the Huliaipole sector remains extremely difficult. Ukrainian forces continue to fight despite the enemy’s significant numerical advantage, showing resilience and a strong will to resist.

Huliaipole front line is critically important for the overall situation in Zaporizhzhia, as maintaining control over this area could influence future military operations. The escalation of Russian forces and their adoption of new tactics, such as electronic warfare, demonstrate that the enemy is adapting to combat conditions, making things even harder for Ukrainian troops. This underscores the urgent need to strengthen defensive positions and improve coordination among Ukrainian units to stabilize the front.
