The spokesperson for the operational-strategic group 'Khortytsia', Nazar Voloshyn, stated that Ukrainian military forces are on the defense and react only to attacks from the Russian army. He emphasized that Ukrainian defenders will respond to the actions of the Russian troops if they violate the Easter truce declared by Putin. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky also confirmed that Ukraine is ready to cease fire and act mirror-like to the Russian Federation.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky also stressed Ukraine's readiness to cease fire and engage in dialogue with the Russian Federation. He added that Ukraine will act mirror-like to the actions of the enemy, meaning respond with silence and defend itself in the case of an attack.
