According to ТСН: Starting from 2025, 1 hryvnia from the sale of each can of 'Volya' with 'Original' flavor will go towards the rehabilitation of defenders who have received severe injuries. This funding will primarily be spent on rehabilitation equipment and orthopedic products for severely wounded military personnel, as well as on components for high-precision devices that help restore hand motor skills and sets for transpedicular spine fixation.

Project Goal

This funding is part of a large initiative aimed at drawing public attention to the need to support veterans and create conditions for their return to active life. A variety of events are planned within the project, including:

  • an inspiring series of videos, where veterans train together with professional athletes;

  • media publications about veterans and their unbreakable spirit;

  • open training sessions with veterans in Kyiv at VDNH.

Project Heroes

Among the participants of the project:

  • Serhiy Ostrinskyi, bronze medalist of the Invictus Games and champion of Ukraine in para-athletics in shot put.

  • Dmytro Tereshchenko, champion of the Oceanman 2024 competition and model of the year at the Ukrainian Fashion Industry Awards.

  • Rostyslav Prystupa, veteran of the marine infantry and defender of Mariupol.

The social initiative is not limited to sports: in partnership with the Readeat bookstore, 'Volya is Moving Forward' has presented a collection of recommended books from veterans.

Subscribers and Support

The project has reached over 5 million people, supported by other veterans and opinion leaders, including footballer Andriy Pelvetskyi, volunteer Viktoriya Chaikivska, world champion in bench press Kostiantyn Yezik, champion of Ukraine in fitness Taras Kopylov, combat medic Olena Ryzh, and others.

“Every contribution and every concerned action is not just help for veterans but the creation of a support culture that is formed through collective efforts. Sincere gratitude to everyone who joined the initiative 'Volya is Moving Forward.' The participation of business and society allows our defenders to return to active life faster and feel confident about the future. And this is the most valuable result of our work. Together we are forming an environment where support becomes the norm and gratitude is sincere and daily,” says Oksana Pankina, communications director at IDS Ukraine.

Rehabilitation Center

The NextStep Ukraine center operates in Irpin and Lviv, providing rehabilitation for about 45 military personnel daily. Sports, specialized equipment, and intensive programs help military personnel on their path to recovery.

“The need for rehabilitation is increasing daily, and we are receiving more and more requests from military personnel and veterans. We make every effort to process these requests, but our team's efforts alone are not enough. The center needs both partnerships and sustainable investments, as well as continuous public support,” comments Tetyana Hrubenyk, director of the Next Step Ukraine center.

The 'Volya is Moving Forward' project is part of a large-scale systemic effort that will continue into 2026.

The initiated initiative highlights the importance of supporting veterans and their rehabilitation, emphasizing the role of business and society in creating new opportunities for those who defended our country. Such joint activities contribute to forming an empathetic environment and help military personnel feel like part of society in a new phase of life.
