In Donetsk region, on Tuesday, one rescuer died as a result of an attack by Russian forces. This was stated by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko.

On the professional holiday of rescuers, the Russians struck them – with artillery and aerial bombs. This morning, the occupiers shelled a village in the Pokrovsky district of Donetsk region. As a result of the attack, one rescuer died. Condolences to the family and colleagues of the deceased.

In addition, as a result of the Russians' aerial bombing attack on Kharkiv, four rescuers were injured.

At the moment, it is known about four rescuers who were injured – at the Time of the attack, they were extinguishing a fire in the forest belt. Three workers are in serious condition. Currently, all necessary assistance is being provided to the victims, wishing each of them a speedy recovery.

Klymenko stated that the cruelty of the Russians knows no bounds, and on Tuesday, Ukrainians were once again convinced of this.

Recall, today, September 17, the Russians attacked Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs (CABs). As a result, six people were injured. Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov noted that among the injured are four rescuers who were extinguishing the fire nearby.

Also, on the night of September 17, the enemy massively attacked Sumy with drones. More than ten explosions thundered. Substations in the city caught fire, and there were problems with electricity and water supply. According to local authorities, there were no casualties. In addition to critical infrastructure objects, several summer houses were damaged.
