According to ТСН: In Kyiv region, an SUV crashed into a truck, resulting in the death of an 8-year-old boy. Two other children were in the cabin with him and were taken to the hospital.
The accident occurred on the Kyiv-Ovruč highway, in the direction of the village of Ivankiv, near Vyshhorod.
According to law enforcement, a 40-year-old female driver of a Jeep Cherokee, while navigating a curve, veered into oncoming traffic, leading to a collision with a truck moving in the opposite direction.
The investigative bodies of Kyiv region police have initiated a criminal proceeding for violating traffic rules, resulting in the child’s death. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
Earlier in Kyiv, another tragic incident occurred: a Porsche Cayenne crashed into a concrete barrier on Beresteisky Avenue. The driver died from injuries sustained.
This tragedy highlights the importance of adhering to traffic rules and exercising caution on the road. Unfortunately, such incidents are becoming more frequent, causing immense pain in the lives of many families. Law enforcement authorities urge drivers to be attentive and responsible for their actions on the road.
