The incident occurred in the evening in one of the villages of the Yavoriv district. The conflict arose between a local resident and a young man from a neighboring village over a remark made by the soldier towards the attacker's friend.

A verbal dispute quickly escalated into a fight near a store. The soldier tried to avoid violence, but the attacker continued to strike even when the victim was already on the ground.

After the beating, the attacker mocked the soldier by filming him with his phone and asking how he was doing and if he had any complaints.

Condition of the Victim

The salespeople in the store called an ambulance, and the victim is now in the hospital. He was diagnosed with a subdural hematoma and is currently in the intensive care unit.

The attacker faces a prison sentence of five to eight years.
