Rocket attack on Ternopil: part of the city without electricity and water

According to ТСН: As a result of the rocket attack on energy facilities in Ternopil, emergency electricity outages are ongoing. Part of the city is left without power and water.

Water supply and heating

The head of the Ternopil Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Nadal, reported that utility services are switching to backup power to provide residents with water and heat. Water and heating supply will gradually be restored.

“Due to emergency outages, trolleybuses are also not operating, and the number of buses on the routes has been increased,” the message states.

Energy workers are making every effort to restore electricity supply.

“Some parts of the city already have electricity, and others will be restored throughout the day. In some parts of the country, air alerts are still ongoing, and this also affects restoration,” Nadal emphasized.

Water supply restoration is also underway, although initially, the pressure may be low. Water will gradually reach the central part of the city, and later to the residential areas.

Problems in other regions

It should be noted that due to the attack from the RF, one of the oblasts may remain without electricity. Serious damage to the power grid has been recorded in the Khmelnytsk Oblast, leading to large-scale outages in the region. Disconnection schedules are not in effect.

Energy workers are working to stabilize the situation and promise to keep updating the information.

This event in Ternopil reflects the ongoing threats from the aggressor that not only affect energy infrastructure but also everyday life. The authorities are taking measures to minimize damage and quickly restore utility services, but the situation remains challenging.
