According to TSN.ua: Starting the evening of March 28 and continuing into the morning of March 29, the Kyiv region came under a sustained drone offensive. Mykola Kalashnyk, head of the regional military administration, provided the initial reports. During this wave of attacks, Russia also launched an aeroballistic 'Kinzhal' missile against the city of Starokostiantyniv.

  • Damage was recorded in the Bila Tserkva and Boryspil districts.
  • In the Boryspil district, the attack struck the agricultural infrastructure of a farming enterprise.
  • In the Bila Tserkva district, production facilities at an industrial site were hit, and an apartment window in a multi-story residential building was shattered.
  • Russian forces deployed 442 attack drones; Ukrainian defenses successfully intercepted 380 of them.
  • Drone impacts were confirmed at seven distinct locations.
“Our skies are held by air defense forces. Targets have been destroyed. We have minor consequences in the Bila Tserkva and Boryspil districts. Once again, peaceful settlements are under fire.” – Mykola Kalashnyk

These developments highlight Russia’s ongoing military aggression against Ukraine, specifically its use of drones and missiles to strike civilian infrastructure. Despite the high number of drones shot down, the resulting damage and continued threat to non-combatants pose serious challenges. The situation demands constant vigilance and rapid response from both state agencies and military units across the region.
