Stabilization power outages on December 31: where the schedules will apply

According to ТСН: On Wednesday, Ukrainians need to be prepared for stabilization power outages, which will be implemented in most regions of the country. This is due to damage to energy facilities as a result of Russian missile and drone attacks.

Who will be affected by the restrictions

Energy companies are introducing two types of restrictions:

  1. Hourly outage schedules — for household consumers in most regions of Ukraine.

  2. Load reduction schedules — for industrial enterprises and businesses.

The main reason for these measures is the deficit in the energy system caused by the aftermath of massive attacks on electricity generation and transmission facilities.

Where to find out your schedule

Ukrenergo reports that the situation in the energy system is dynamic and may change.

To find out the exact time and volume of outages for your address, you should check information on the official pages of the power distribution companies in your region (website or social media), on the local government websites, as well as in media publications.

The company also encourages Ukrainians: when electricity becomes available according to the schedule, it should be consumed sparingly to reduce the load on the damaged network.

Moreover, an energy expert has warned of difficult 2-3 weeks ahead, as new Russian strikes may further complicate the situation.

Given the situation, Ukrainians should be prepared for possible interruptions in electricity supply. In such conditions, it is important to follow the recommendations of energy specialists and limit consumption to support the stability of the energy system. Ensuring electricity supply is a common task that requires conscious efforts from every consumer.
