Court bans driver from Odesa from driving until 2059: reason.
According to ТСН: A court in Odesa has decided to prohibit a local resident from driving a car until 2059. This decision was made following three arrests by patrol police for driving under the influence of narcotics.
In the Primorsky District Court, it was established that the man was stopped in August of this year while driving under the influence of narcotics. The patrol officers noticed clear signs: constricted pupils, tremors in his hands, and paleness. However, the driver refused to undergo a medical examination.
This case was not the only one - he was previously detained twice for similar violations in June of the same year.
"According to part 3 of article 30 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses, if a person, deprived of the right to drive, commits a new offense provided for by article 130 before the expiration of the term of this penalty, the unserved part of the previous penalty is added to the new one,
In this regard, the court decided to prohibit the man from driving vehicles for 33 years, 4 months, and 20 days, and also imposed a fine of UAH 51,000.
Legal expert Oleksandr Ivanov emphasized that this punishment is a record for the Odesa region. Recently, a 27-year-old driver in the Vinnytsia region also set an impressive record for the number of fines for traffic violations, indicating serious problems with adherence to traffic discipline in the country.
