Demand for the establishment of a military administration in Odesa

According to inkorr.com: Deputy Olga Kvasnitska advocates for the establishment of a military administration in Odesa, considering it a necessary step in the fight against corruption, which, in her opinion, was introduced by Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov. She notes that law enforcement has already recorded facts of corrupt actions and obtaining unlawful benefits, as well as violations of the law in the area of budget funds.

Law enforcement has discovered numerous cases of corruption and unlawful benefits regarding Trukhanov, particularly through budget funds, as well as violations of the law, as evidenced by criminal cases.

Kvasnitska believes that corruption in Odesa poses a serious threat to the city and its budget, which, in turn, negatively affects the entire country. She has already submitted a petition on the president's website, noting that a similar situation is observed in other cities of Ukraine, as well as considering the demands of military personnel and veterans who addressed the head of state with a similar problem.

Mayor Trukhanov called these calls manipulation by political opponents and urged law enforcement to intervene in the situation.

The idea of establishing a military administration in Odesa has support among some politicians and citizens, although it also provokes disputes and ambiguous reactions from local authorities. This confirms that the problem of corruption in Ukraine remains very relevant and requires urgent measures from the government and political leaders to address it.

It is important for the situation in Odesa to serve as an example for other cities where there are also corruption problems. The public discussion about the possibility of introducing a military administration reflects the growing activity of civil society, which seeks to change a system that has not lived up to their expectations. Whether necessary reforms can be carried out and corruption overcome is a question that requires answers from all participants in the political process.
