Massive power outages in Khmelnytskyi region: energy workers are working on restoration.

According to ТСН: As a result of the enemy missile and drone attack overnight and in the morning of December 23, the power grid in the Khmelnytskyi region suffered serious damage. The region is experiencing mass power outages, and the blackout schedules are not being fully implemented.

In the press service of Khmelnytskyoblenergo, they emphasized:

“Electric energy is absent for most consumers. Energy workers are inspecting the power grids, the condition of the equipment, looking for opportunities to restore power to consumers and repair the equipment.”

As of 11:00, power supply has been restored for 37,590 consumers. As a result of the attack and damage to the power grid, electricity is absent, and the blackout restriction schedules are not in effect.

Explosions in Khmelnytskyi

In the morning, explosions were heard in Khmelnytskyi. The region experienced several hours of air alarms due to the threat of drones and missiles. As a result of the attack, one person was killed, a man born in 1953.

Emergency outages in other regions

It should be noted that in many regions of Ukraine, energy facilities have also become targets. After the attack, emergency outages are being implemented in these regions. Consumers in the Rivne region are almost completely without electricity. Outages have also been recorded in Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Chernihiv, Zhytomyr, as well as in Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kharkiv regions.

This attack once again confirms the low state of security of the energy infrastructure in Ukraine due to constant shelling. The situation remains tense, and energy workers are working to restore electricity, despite the difficulties they face in fulfilling their duties. Consumers have to endure long hours without power, and their support and understanding in this situation is very important.
