According to ТСН: An unfortunate incident occurred in the village of Hamaliivka, near Lviv, resulting in the death of a fisherman. The man, who was fishing, fell through the ice and drowned.

The incident took place at a local pond when a man born in 1974 suddenly found himself under the ice. His cries for help were heard by passersby, who called for rescuers.

Unfortunately, the man could not be saved.

“Upon the arrival of rescuers, the man was already not visible on the surface of the water. At a distance of about 150 meters from the shore, rescuers found the body of the deceased. With the help of a boat and special equipment, it was pulled onshore and handed over to ambulance workers and the police,” the statement said.
