According to ТСН: The enemy has carried out a new massive strike on energy facilities, leading to the introduction of emergency restrictions in several regions. The most difficult situation is currently observed in the capital, where all power supply schedules have been canceled.

Kyiv: The Right Bank in Critical Condition

The CEO of YASNO, Serhiy Kovalenko, described the state of Kyiv's energy system as critical.

"What is the status in the capital right now? The whole city is in emergency outages. To simplify, the situation on the right bank has worsened to the level of the left bank," he wrote.

Problem with False Calls

The head of YASNO urged residents not to overload contact centers and repair crews with requests unless absolutely necessary. According to him, 70% of the repair crews' outings are currently unnecessary.

"People are submitting requests because there is less light than expected. Or there are problems in their homes. Only 30% are real issues that require intervention from the network crews," Kovalenko explained.

He asked to leave requests only in the case of genuine emergencies so that the limited resources of the crews could be used where truly needed.

The Situation in Ukraine: Where the Light is Out

According to information from Ukrenergo, during the night and morning, Russians attacked energy facilities in several regions.

Many consumers have been left without electricity in:

  • Kyiv and Kyiv region;

  • Chernihiv region;

  • Dnipropetrovsk region;

  • Zaporizhzhia region.

Problems with electricity are also being observed in Zhytomyr, Kharkiv, and Donetsk regions.

Distribution system operators in Kyiv, Kyiv region, Odesa, and Dnipro are forced to apply network restrictions. Previously published schedules there are no longer valid.

The situation is complicated by the weather: due to bad weather, 10 settlements in Transcarpathia and 7 in Chernihiv have been left without power. Energy workers promise to lift emergency restrictions as soon as the system stabilizes.

It is worth reminding that Ukrainians are advised not to expect stabilization of energy supply until the end of winter. Expert Volodymyr Omelchenko noted that with each new attack on energy, the situation only worsens, as the system physically cannot withstand constant strikes, despite the efforts of specialists.

These events indicate a continuation of threats to the Ukrainian energy system. In the context of constant attacks on energy facilities, the tense situation throughout the country only underscores the importance of conserving resources and timely responding to real emergencies. Ukrainian energy workers continue to work on stabilizing the system, but the weather and military actions create additional difficulties.
