March Weekend Weather Outlook for 2026

According to TSN.ua: Ukraine is set to experience moderately warm conditions during the last weekend of March 2026, though rain—especially in the western regions—will be a factor. Daytime highs across the country are expected to reach 13–15°C, with average daily temperatures hovering between 10°C and 11°C.

According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, temperatures on Sunday, March 29, will range from +12°C to +18°C in most areas. In western regions, daytime readings will fall between +11°C and +16°C. Overnight lows will settle at +4°C to +9°C, while daytime temperatures across Ukraine will warm to +14°C to +19°C.

Natalka Didenko noted that rain is most likely on March 29 in western Ukraine and the southern part of Odesa Oblast.

This variability means unpredictable weather, especially for those planning outdoor activities. In the Carpathian Mountains, temperatures will range from +2°C to +7°C both day and night.

Experts are forecasting a significant drop in the temperature baseline. Vitaliy Postryhan reported that a cold spell is expected to arrive in Ukraine at the start of April. This shift could influence subsequent weather patterns and affect people’s plans for the beginning of the new month.

What to Expect and Potential Impacts

As a result, the final weekend of March 2026 will bring Ukraine a mix of warm and rainy days, followed by a cooling trend in the days immediately after.

This forecast highlights the characteristic unpredictability of spring weather, which can impact various sectors—from agriculture to outdoor recreation. The early-April cold snap may be a key factor for farmers planning their sowing campaigns, as well as for anyone looking to spend time outside.
