According to ТСН: In Kyiv, an incident occurred at one of the schools: a ninth-grader attacked the history teacher and a classmate with a knife. Medics urgently arrived at the scene, hospitalized the victims, and law enforcement detained the attacker.

In the morning, the 9th-grade student arrived at school with a knife, a mask, and a helmet. During the lesson, he attacked the teacher and also injured a classmate who tried to protect her. During the attack, the boy put on a helmet and mask in the bathroom, then burst into the classroom. The 14-year-old classmate sustained serious injuries, while the teacher suffered stab wounds.

After the attack, the assailant hid in the bathroom and injured himself. He was detained and taken to the 'Okhmatdyt' hospital, where his classmate is also being treated. Both teenagers have undergone surgery, but their lives are not in danger. It turned out that the attacker is the son of a police officer, and his family moved to the capital from Dnipropetrovsk region.
Parents of the students who came to pick up their children from school describe the situation: teachers were ordered to close the classrooms and not release the students. Although classes were officially not canceled, lessons were not conducted. The school principal did not comment on the situation but noted that the attacker was not problematic.
