Ukraine is facing icy conditions and gusty winds: weather forecast for December 14.

At night, slight precipitation in the form of wet snow and rain is possible in the western and northern parts of the country. During the day, moderate precipitation is expected in almost all regions except the east. Icy conditions and the accumulation of wet snow are forecasted in northern, central, and southern regions, making the roads slippery.

The wind will be from the south, but will change to north-western at a speed of 7-12 m/s. In the western regions, gusts may reach 15-20 m/s.

Temperature indicators

At night, the temperature will range from -1 to -6°C, and during the day it will be from -4°C to +1°C. In the Odesa region, the air will warm up to +3…+8°C. In the western regions, the temperature is expected to be from +3°C to -2°C at night, and from +1…+6°C during the day.

Kyiv and the region

In the Kyiv region and the capital, variable cloudiness is forecasted. During the day, moderate wet snow with accumulation is possible, and icy conditions on the roads. The temperature in the region at night will drop to -1…-6°C, and during the day it will fluctuate from -4°C to +1°C. In Kyiv, at night, the temperature will be -3…-5°C, and during the day, around 0°C.

We remind you that the 'Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center' warned about dangerous meteorological phenomena in Ukraine. Thus, on December 14 at night in Zhytomyr and Kyiv regions, icy conditions are expected on the roads. During the day, in northern, central, and most southern regions, wet snow accumulation is expected, icy conditions on the roads, and in Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions, icy roads.
