Russian attack on Shostka: the city is left without electricity and heating.
According to ТСН: On Tuesday, Russian aggressors attacked the city of Shostka in the Sumy region using strike drones. As a result of this attack, a critical infrastructure facility was destroyed.
The mayor of Shostka, Mykola Noga, stated that:
«A significant part of the subscribers were left without electricity and heating».
Utility companies and medical institutions are forced to switch to emergency power supply to ensure the stable operation of critical facilities.
Restoration work
Emergency recovery teams are already working at the sites of destruction. Specialists are assessing the scale of the damage and performing priority work to restore electricity and heating supply.
Information about the damage and potential losses is being clarified.
Other attacks
Recall that as a result of a massive attack in the Odesa region, civilian objects were damaged, including energy, port, transport, industrial, and residential infrastructure.
A critical infrastructure facility was also damaged in the Lviv region.
In the Kyiv region, a fire broke out in a private two-story house in the Vyshhorod district, resulting in the death of a 76-year-old woman.
These events are becoming part of the large-scale aggression that continues in Ukraine, striking at the lives of peaceful citizens and infrastructure. The restoration of destroyed facilities will require time and effort, while civilians continue to endure the consequences of war.
