Hostile Attack in Kherson
According to TSN.ua: On January 21, 2023, a Russian 'Molniya'-type drone struck a multi-story residential building in Kherson. The attack left a 72-year-old woman with a concussion and a traumatic brain injury. This incident is part of a broader pattern of strikes on civilian areas in southern Ukraine.
Over the course of that day, four settlements within the Kherson community came under hostile fire. In addition to Kherson, the targeted locations were:
- Antonivka
- Prydniprovske
- Sadove
The attacks resulted in one fatality and five other people wounded. The situation in the region remains tense due to persistent threats from Russian forces.
Situation in Southern Ukraine
These events reflect the continuation of active combat in southern Ukraine, where the local population remains under threat from constant shelling. Regional authorities and emergency services are working to ensure civilian safety, but risks remain extremely high due to the unstable conditions.
