Night drone attack on Krasnodar region: oil terminal damaged.
According to ТСН: On the night before December 22, a series of explosions was heard in the Sloviansk district, presumably due to the operation of air defense.
Local residents reported that they heard at least five explosions, and bright flashes could be seen in the sky along with the sound of engines. It is preliminarily believed that the air defense was trying to destroy kamikaze drones.
No official information about casualties or damage was initially reported.
Further on the consequences of the explosions
Later it became known that debris from the drone damaged a pipeline at one of the terminals in the village of Volna in the Temryuk district, resulting in an area of about 100 square meters being on fire. Emergency services are working at the scene, and details of the incident are being clarified.
Attack on the oil platform
Earlier, special forces from the 'Alpha' Center of the Security Service of Ukraine attacked with drones the Russian oil extraction platform named after Filanovsky, located in the Caspian Sea. The Security Service of Ukraine confirmed at least four hits on the platform owned by 'Lukoil-Nizhnevolzhskneft'. As a result of the attack, oil and gas production from over 20 wells was halted.
This event is part of a prolonged military confrontation affecting both military and civilian objects. The explosions in the Sloviansk district apparently became a response to previous attacks, highlighting the escalation of tensions in the region. The situation remains under control; however, as always, civilians suffer from the consequences of military actions.
