Oleh Turko Jr. vs. Dzidzio: The Feud Erupts

According to TSN.ua: Oleh Turko Jr., the son of the late musician Lesyk, has publicly slammed singer Dzidzio for repeatedly invoking his father’s name and that of fellow artist Kuzma Skryabin during concerts. In a blistering statement, Turko demanded that Dzidzio stop referencing Lesyk and Kuzma from the stage, calling the practice deeply hurtful and disrespectful to his family’s memory. He warned the pop star to stay away from Uzhhorod, declaring that no one there wants to see him.

Turko’s outburst came in the form of a direct, profanity-laced address to Dzidzio:

“Dzidzio, you pathetic coward! Never mention the names Lesyk and Kuzma at your concerts again. Don’t even bother coming to Uzhhorod—nobody is waiting for you here! DzidziOFF!”
The remarks mark a dramatic escalation of a long-simmering personal and professional rift.

What Sparked the Clash

Notably, Dzidzio—whose real name is Mykhailo Khoma—did not attend Lesyk’s funeral, a slight that likely deepened Turko’s resentment. Turko himself left the band DZIDZIO in 2016, and by 2018, Khoma had won a legal case over the unauthorized use of his image and songs. Lesyk, Oleh’s father, fell ill during a concert in December 2024 and passed away on November 22, 2025. These events have clearly poisoned relations between the artists and stirred significant tension within the Ukrainian music scene.

The confrontation underscores how sensitive the memory of deceased performers can be in Ukrainian show business. Turko’s raw, emotional response reveals the depth of his grief and his perception that Dzidzio has shown insufficient respect. The feud also illustrates how personal histories can fracture professional ties, sparking heated reactions from fans on both sides and amplifying the drama in the entertainment industry.
