Odesa region: 330 thousand households have received power, but 288 thousand are still waiting.
According to ТСН: Over the past three days, energy workers have restored electricity for 330 thousand households in the Odesa region, ensuring power supply to all critical infrastructure facilities. However, as of the morning of December 16, more than 288 thousand families are still without electricity.
Situation with electricity supply
As of December 16, all critical infrastructure facilities in the Odesa region have been powered, but 288.2 thousand families still remain without electricity.
Emergency restoration work continues uninterrupted. Specialists from DTEK Odesa Power Grids are working around the clock to restore power to consumers' homes as soon as possible.
“We ask residents of localities where electricity supply is still absent to unplug all appliances from sockets and turn them on gradually after power is restored. This will help reduce the load on the network and avoid additional emergencies,” urged the head of the OVA.
He also expressed gratitude to the residents of Odesa for their patience and understanding, emphasizing that all services are doing their utmost to stabilize the situation.
Attacks on Odesa region
Let us remind you that on the night of December 13, Russian troops attacked Odesa with drones and missiles, resulting in the city and some localities in the region being left without electricity.
On the night of December 16, the Russian army struck again at the Odesa region using dozens of drones, leading to a large fire at an industrial enterprise and igniting a warehouse of household appliances with boilers and heaters.
The situation in the Odesa region remains tense as numerous attacks by Russian troops continue to disrupt power networks. Local authorities and energy workers are doing everything possible to quickly restore electricity supply, but significant possible risks threaten stability in the region.
Residents of Odesa who are still without electricity must remain cautious and follow the instructions of local authorities. Only through joint efforts can this difficult situation be overcome.
