According to ТСН: A tragic event occurred in Kyiv region: a woman killed her partner out of jealousy.

This was reported by the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office on Facebook.

“Under the procedural guidance of the Fastiv District Prosecutor's Office, a 25-year-old resident of the Fastiv district has been charged with intentional murder (part 1 of article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). According to investigators, in a private house in the village of Berezanshchyna in the Fastiv district, a quarrel arose between the accused and her partner on the grounds of jealousy. During the conflict, the woman stabbed the 44-year-old man in the stomach, from which he died at the scene,” the message states.

The woman was arrested in accordance with article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and was placed in a temporary detention center.

Currently, the issue of selecting a preventive measure for her is being resolved.

The pre-trial investigation is ongoing, conducted by investigators of the Fastiv District Police Department.

The 25-year-old woman could face up to 15 years in prison.

It is worth noting that earlier in Kyiv, due to jealousy, a 34-year-old man brutally beat an acquaintance who died at the scene.

This tragedy highlights the serious consequences that jealousy can lead to. Law enforcement continues to investigate this case, trying to clarify all the circumstances that led to the fatal incident. Society is now beginning to actively discuss the importance of preventing violence in family relationships.
