According to ТСН: In the center of Russian Belgorod, an incident involving hostage-taking occurred at one of the branches of 'Promsvyazbank'. According to Russian Telegram channels, the incident took place on Preobrazhenskaya Street, 59.
Law enforcement and emergency services quickly arrived at the scene. Traffic in the vicinity was blocked.
Incident Details
A man who entered the bank claimed to have an explosive device attached to his body. He demanded negotiations involving FSB representatives. At the initial stage of the operation, the number of potential hostages remained unknown.
Later it became known that the man released all the visitors of the branch. After that, law enforcement began negotiations with him, and he ultimately surrendered voluntarily.

At the preliminary stage, it was determined that no explosive device was found on the detained individual. Official authorities have not yet provided detailed information about the motives behind his actions or the legal classification of the incident.
